Sacrament of the Sick
In 1972, the His Holiness Pope Paul VI reminded us that this sacrament "is not a sacrament for those only who are at the point of death. Hence, as soon as any one of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the appropriate time for him to receive this sacrament has certainly already arrived." Please inform the Parish Office about Parishioners who need this sacrament as early in the illness as possible.
Please contact the Pastor at least one year in advance of the date on which you wish to be married and prior to making any arrangements for a reception. The Diocese of Wilmington has a twelve-month preparation program for engaged couples.
